The Next Step In Hoop Dance: Transitions and Tricks

You know the very basic movements of Hula Hooping and want to learn more spectacular, yet somewhat easy tricks? This class is for you! After the warm up, we'll start by reviewing briefly the basic movements of waist, hands and neck hooping. After that, we'll be adding crazy/fun/pretty twists to these to give a more spectacular feel to the practice. Expect to try/discover the Vortex, the Shimmy, Arms Flow, Barrel Rolls and Knee hooping. Heck, we'll even try hooping with our feet ! Please bring a towel and/or wear darker colours as we'll be hooping on the grass for the foot hooping part. And we'll cool down with some nice yogic shoulder and hip stretches. Bring your own hoop of use one of ours for the class ! Class is Bilingual/Bilingue.

Après l'échauffement, nous reverrons brièvement les mouvements de base autour de la taille, des mains et du cou. La majorité de la classe sera passée à apprendre des trucs fous/amusants/jolis afin de vous donner un répertoire plus spectaculaire. Attendez-vous à essayer/découvrir le Vortex, la Cheminée, les Bras Alternés, le Limbo et cerceau autour des genoux. Tant qu'à y être, nous essayerons même de faire tourner le cerceau autour de nos pieds ! Veuillez apporter une serviette ou votre tapis de yoga ou portez des vêtements foncés car la partie autour des pieds sera au sol, sur le gazon. On terminera avec des étirements yoguiques pour vos épaules et vos hanches. Apportez votre cerceau, ou utilisez l'un des cerceaux sur place. Classe bilingue/bilingual.
