Intermediate Hoop Dace: Finding Your Flow & Floor Tricks

Limited Capacity seats available

Discover my two favorite parts of hooping : creating flow and floor hooping. When we learn new tricks, we mostly look like robots and are unable to link the different movements in a fluid dance. We'll address this problem in the first half of the class by developing ideas and autonomy for you to integrate in your hoop practice. This part will be more sweaty as we'll be hooping for several minutes at a time. Turning, spinning, arm positioning and stalls will be our tools. The goal is to use all our body when we're hooping to eventually feel more graceful and confident in our practice. Second half won't be sweaty, but more intense for the abs and hips as we'll be learning (so much fun!) tricks on the floor. Bring a 6'x6' blanket or be prepared to roll on the grass during this part. Class is bilingual/bilingue.
Class time devoted to lecture: Less than 5 minutes

Classe bilingue/bilingual.
