In Hawaiian Kai means Ocean and Nalu means wave. The ocean waves are powerful when riding that energy you'll find freedom. Expect to move into a powerful flow, building strength from the inside out. This steady and strong flow on water includes peaks of progressive vinyasa sequencing with connected poses moving with the wind of your breath. Expect a complete class where you will awaken every part of your body with core work, twists, balancing poses, warriors and lots of smiles while you break a sweat! Just like the energy of the waves traveling across the ocean we'll start the class slow and build energy which we will hold for the majority of the class and end the class by slowing down again. A steady vinyasa practice is recommended to take this class. Although modifications will be offered, but a certain steady pace will be maintained.
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
